Like a Celebrity

Andrew, Brode, and I had the opportunity to head to Austin this past week. The Brenham Coaches were there for a football convention and the wives were invited for some extra pampering before becoming "widows" for the upcoming season. 

We have never stayed at a Four Season's Hotel before. It is the only five-star hotel in the area. It is the hotel celebrities choose to stay at because of the outstanding staff. The last time we were treated so royally was during our stay at Aventura Spa Palace in Mexico. The staff knew us by name and pronounced it as "Mr. and Mrs. 'Shawn-ley'." They weighted on us hand and foot. They provided a crib for our son to sleep in... no, not a pack n' play but an actual crib with bedding and all. They provided water every time we'd come and go. They'd open all of our doors for us. They had spectacular valet services. They had a salt water, sparkling-clear swimming pool where they offered us smoothies and popsicles for the babies! They had fresh squeezed lemonade each and every afternoon...

There have been several perks of being involved with Brenham High School. They, by far, treat their coaches and families top notch. We were treated to two fancy dinners at two fine restaurants. Appetizers on the house, drinks on the house, salads and desserts on the house. We were offered meals so fine that I couldn't even spell their names right if I tried... The ladies were offered a a gift card to the Spa in our hotel. I enjoyed an hour massage that was so exquisite I can't even explain myself. We were offered robes and slippers to lounge in throughout our stay. The beds were so comfortable it's as if we were sleeping on white, fluffy clouds. 

I have only named a few perks of our fabulous stay; the perks that come to mind immediately when thinking about the Four Season's Hotel. If ever given the opportunity to stay at such a fine hotel, I suggest you take it. Other than an all-inclusive paid honeymoon, you'll never be treated like a celebrity again.
