We had the opportunity to visit Andrew's old stomping grounds while we were back in Nebraska during summer break. It was so neat to see Brode running out of the tunnel and onto the field, just like his Daddy did "back in the day." And for those of you who are avid Husker fans, you'll notice Brode is not wearing the traditional ADIDAS sports wear ;) but quite frankly, we like Nike better!
Like Father, like son... Our prediction... Brode will become a left-handed, 6'3 quarterback one of these days. He's very tall. He's very fast. Only time will tell. =)
Ta Da!! Here's Brode running out of the tunnel and onto the field at Memorial Stadium! Go Baby Shans!!As you can see, Brode does great running out of the tunnel, but has to learn how to run onto the field... not towards the shiny red gates! Enjoy the video clip!

Once he figures out how to run on the field he'll be unstoppable:) Maybe when they're older Brode and Davey can play together. We too are hoping for a football playing boy...however looking at the size of his parents he will probably be a kicker:)
we'll be the first to buy season tickets - no matter what they cost by that time :) ....he is fast! he'll do well in whatever he choses. it will be fun to see where God directs him.
