We decided to take our first, official hike with Brode while vacationing in Colorado. We are always amazed at the beauty of God's creation when we come up here. The majestic mountains, the peaceful lakes, the awe-inspiring waterfalls, and the amazing elk.
Here we are at Bear's Lake. This was a very easy trail... a pain free hike around a beautiful lake with mountains for a backdrop. Brode did great in his backpack carrier!!
A picture of my two boys... Brode would often time play with Daddy's hair and give him hugs from behind. We were so proud of how well he did as we hiked.
After Bear's Lake, we decided to hike to Alberta Falls. This hike was about 2 miles and had a lot of inclines. Needless to say, we were tired at the end, but had a great time (more to come on next post).
Here is our precious boy, along for the ride! What a good, little junior ranger! =)
