Forever Memories

I used to go to Colorado with my fam ever since I was a baby. The memories they've instilled in my heart will live on forever. We wanted to do the same for Brode.
Another memory I'll hold onto forever... Brode whispering in my ear. If you tell him a secret, he'll immediately want to tell you one right back. The feel of his breath on your face is priceless. And that giggle is unforgettable as well.
15 months ago, we had an "itty bitty" baby boy in our arms. Now we have a one year old who is getting more independent by the second. I cherish the moments when he still "needs" me to hold his hand, carry him, read to him, or wipe away his tears. 26 years of my life flew by in the blink of an eye. So for now, I will try not to blink and hold on to our memories forever.
Our little family began with just Andrew and I. Now we've become a family of three. For those of you that have been blessed to have a spouse or children, please hold on to them forever. Do not ever take them for granted. Our life on earth is only temporary. The people in our lives are only temporary. Hold on tightly to everything you love dear. Make memories every day. Laugh. Smile. Hold hands. Go after your dreams.
I realize we are still young and have a lot to go through in this life. But what I can tell you is this: God's been good to Andrew, Brode, and I. He's our Provider, Protector, and Giver. He consistently blesses us each and every day. I am thankful for the husband and son He's granted me. We always have a choice, so try to live life like there's no tomorrow.
