2 Month Well Check

Bryson had his 2 month well check yesterday morning. He's actually about one week from being three months, but regardless we took him in and he checked out GREAT! He weighed in at 13 pounds, 6 ounces and was 24 inches long! Our boy is getting so big already!

Bryson has always been a great eater and sleeper, since birth. I am truly blessed! This little guy will eat within 10 minutes and is up to 8 hours of sleep at night. He had his longest stretch while we were traveling - 11 whole hours, straight through!! I was so pumped but knew it was only b/c we had worn him out. I guess I'll take the 8 hours, though! His pediatrician says we are lucky... most babies don't sleep that well till 4 months old. 

He also naps well, on his own. We'll put him down drowsy and he can fall asleep on his own (sometimes with a little help from his bink). He'll sleep up to 2-3 hours at most. He enjoyed being swaddled since birth but now is starting to "free" his arms... The tricky thing is he sleeps the best when swaddled but is freeing his arms now and waking himself up early... I guess he'll have to learn, eventually.

All-in-all, I'd say we have a great babe. He rarely fusses or even makes a peep unless he's cooing at you! He's beginning to grasp onto things and scoots all over the place on his play mat... He's even rocking from side to side a bit... I can't wait to see him first roll over!! And he's close to laughing - Daddy practically got him to laugh by tickling him the other day... so precious.

Praise the LORD for a healthy well check & a happy baby. We are BLESSED!
