We took Brode & Bryson to the Henry Doorly Zoo this past Monday. Brode is fascinated by animals, so we figured it'd be a good experience for him. Bryson, of course, didn't even realize he was at the zoo...

Here's Brode in one of the train cars. He LOVES "choo-choo's" so this was a special treat!

Look who joined him? His three cousins came along, too. I'm telling you... this trip wouldn't have been AS successful had they not have been there. They helped "baby" him, distract him, play with him, and care for him. They were a great help!

For most of the time, Brode would park his little buns on Makylee's and Ashlynn's laps. When he'd crawl up there, he'd say, "Oh, Ree!" I loved hearing them interact - they'd giggle and talk and miss parts of the zoo!

Isn't this the sweetest thing you've ever seen? Little Kenadee ("Nena") taking care of Brode. She is only one year older, yet she loves to "mother" him and Brode doesn't mind at all! ;)

"Boo, Nena, and Ree" in the Hippos mouth.

Brode, saying "hello" to the goats. He kept asking me, "pet goats?"

This is where Bryson spent most of his time at the zoo... Thankfully, I brought this carrier - he slept on me for hours!

Of course, we had to end our day by getting an enormous ice cream cone!! Once we hit the road, Brode fell fast asleep. I'd say that was a successful trip to the zoo!

My favorite pic, by far, is the one of Kenadee and Brode. Adorable.s
