Bryson's 3rd Birthday!

Bryson turned 3 years old, just six short days after his big brother turned 5! Needless to say, we've had quite a busy birthday week! But it has been full of fun!

Where do I even begin with Bryson? On the day he was born, I remember a nurse telling me that he would be quite the screamer. And guess what? He's definitely my screamer! :) But I love him to pieces! He is ornery and full of mischief but that's what makes him special to me. I can tell what he's thinking by the sparkle in his eye!

Bryson is talking up a storm these days! I love that he can tell me what happens when I drop him off during morning bible studies or sunday school now. He had a teacher tell me, once, that he was the best boy in class! That made my heart smile. 

Although Bryson can be quite ornery at times, he can be the sweetest, most polite little thing. He loves to be cuddled. He always has. "Hold me, Mama," he will say. And when he is thirsty, he uses his best manners, "Me need more water please, ma'am!" 

Bryson stays home with Mommy during the day and while Brode is at preschool, we practice our letters, numbers, or shapes, too! Bryson can almost count to 20 with little help!  He knows most of his shapes by heart. He knows his colors. And he knows some letters from the alphabet, by site. 

Right now, he loves Curious George and Caillou. His best friend (besides Brode, of course) is his favorite lovie, "Baby Dog." He takes him everywhere. Bryson loves to be sung to and he is just as competitive as his big brother. He adores Brode. He simply misses him each time we drop him off at preschool. I don't know what I'm going to do when Brode goes to school full time! 

Again, it's hard summing up Bryson's three years but I can tell you this: He is also considered one of my favorite blessings of all times. I praise the Lord for him each day. My heart definitely made room for my youngest son. And my life wouldn't be the same without him either. We just fit perfectly. I am truly blessed. I love you, little man!! I'm so glad you're mine!
