It wasn't even intentional. Yes, we knew where they were filming but our main goal was to sneak away for a little time to ourselves. So we went shopping at our quaint little downtown shops. As we were coming out from a store, we heard someone say, "Look, there he is!" Sure enough, there was Jack Black! Then... we saw another car pull up and out pops Shirley Maclaine! She gave a nice little wave to the small crowd gathered and headed towards the set.
Although it was neat to see these two celebrities, I wasn't that impressed. Now, had it been Matthew McConaughey, I would have been more star struck and probably even a little more giddy. However, it was cool to see them filming, with cameras rolling and extras milling around. What will be even more cool is to see the movie once it comes out. We've seen several spots where they've been filming so it'll be interesting to pick out places around town!
I'm afraid my time is running out and my chances of seeing McConaughey are getting slimmer by the day... Cross your fingers ladies and gentleman! We've gotta make this happen! ;)
