Turkey Day

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Although we wished we could have spent the holiday with family, we're definitely enjoying our new traditions. Same as last year, we decided to make our own Thanksgiving FEAST! ;)
Andrew was in charge of the turkey legs and they turned out scrumptious! He also makes his very own cranberry sauce and this year was his absolute best attempt! I handled all of the casseroles and side dishes. I made a whipped potato casserole, green bean casserole, and the stuffing. We didn't have time to make our own rolls or pie but can you blame us? Look at how much food we made!! Of course, we're still eating leftovers, but are very thankful for this feast!
Although Brode's in his "I'm not going to try that (food) phase," he still had a blast and was such a trooper. We couldn't have asked for a more peaceful, relaxing, and fun-filled holiday. For that we are truly thankful.
