Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow...

Ever since high school, my best friend and I used to sing "Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow" any time we wanted it to snow. Most times, it would snow later that day. We didn't do it very often in fear of "jinxing" ourselves! =) Well, all day I've been dancing around and singing "Let it Snow" with Brode Bear. Is it really a coincidence that I just looked out the window and saw... what... SNOW coming down?? Am I dreaming? Am I still in Texas?? I'm not dreaming and I'm still in Texas and it is, indeed, snowing!! Who would have thought?! I can't even believe my eyes but I am loving it. The cold weather from Nebraska must have come with the Shanle's for we have brought the snow to Texas! Before I get too excited, I must realize that we are still in Texas and it's only 40 degrees so it won't snow long and it will definitely not stick around... But I don't care... we just witnessed snow in south-central Texas and it's making me feel more like "home." One more week!!! =) We'll see you Nebraskans soon!
