8 Months Old

I can't even begin to describe how quickly the past 7 months have flown by for me. Brode officially hit his 8 month mark today. We have watched our son grow into his little "paws" since the day he was born. His first smile melted our hearts and we thought it was beautiful. Later he learned how to lift his head, roll over, and imitate us. We, of course, thought he was a genius. And his laugh... oh, his laugh... so joyous. Now our little man has gone from sitting up all by himself to discovering how to crawl, standing with support, and playing independently. And he officially has SIX teeth poking through those tiny, little gums of his - we didn't think his smile could get any cuter! =)  All this to say... time truly flies and you don't really remember life before kids. They occupy your everything but it's the most perfect gift of life God has ever blessed us with and we are forever grateful for the privilege to raise him, here on earth. We love you, son. You melt our hearts. We loved you since before you were born and we love that you KNOW us.
