Meet the Teacher

We had a "Meet the Teacher" day  & "Meet the Classmates" day for Brode before school officially started this year. I was grateful for these days of preparation for my son. It definitely helped ease him into a new school, new classroom, and new teachers. And it secretly helped me as well. It's always hard for me to let my babies go but I'm learning to trust the people that God places in my child's life along the way. And of course, I'm praying daily.

Brode has been such a big helper with Bryson - He has shown him how to have faith, how to be brave, and how to trust Mommy to return. I swear Bryson would start school this year if I let him. He just waltzed right into Brode's classroom as if he owned the place. However, I am fortunate to stay home with my kiddos so I'm going to hold onto him just a little bit longer!

I am so proud of Brode for being so brave! I hope this year brings him spiritual, physical, emotional, and social growth. I have been so blessed to have him by my side these past several years. I'm sure going to miss him. And so is Bryson.
My sweet boy.
A favorite activity for Brode - building blocks.
Bryson just fit right in!
