Andrew officially began his new job as Special Teams Coordinator/Secondary Coach with the Eagles several weeks ago, and they are finally getting to the heart of the matter. They had their first scrimmage last weekend and another set for this Thursday night! I can't believe their first game is less than two weeks away. This is the start of a brand new school, so they only have freshman and sophomores and can only compete at the JV level for the first two years. After that, Varsity play will begin. That said, these boys are definitely young and even inexperienced but they've got heart and potential. I'm eager to see how they will grow - as coaches AND as athletes.
Andrew is enjoying his new job, gets along great with all other coaches, and is loving the responsibility of Special Teams Coordinator. He's been needing a position that'll help him grow and so far, he comes home weekly with something new on his plate! I'm so excited for him as he continues to learn the game of football and helps mold the minds of these young athletes!
GO EAGLES!! :)
