Fun at the Fair!

Our little cowboy gave us such a beautiful smile - to begin with - but we missed it so here's his little "cheeseball" grin. We still think he makes a pretty fine cowboy!
We decided to take Brode to the fair last night. He wanted to ride everything in sight but unfortunately he wasn't big enough. Although we felt terrible turning him down, we didn't trust the way those little rides took off... round and round... they're pretty fast for kiddos!! He did get to ride the CAROUSEL, though, and he LOVED it! Each time he'd pass by Mommy, he'd wave! It was adorable! And, yes it made my night.

There was a petting zoo at the fair, which Brode also loved. He found this cute, little guinea pig and just stayed right next to him. One time, he forgot the pig was there and it started to move and it scared the dickens out of Brode! Pretty cute...
Brode is such a lovey. He particularly loves animals and is not afraid of the little ones.  As a matter of fact, he loved the bunny and kept petting him and every time he sees a kitten or puppy he has to give it hugs and kisses. Brode liked to look at the "big" animals from a distance. As long as Daddy was right there, he was okay. But, boy would he get frightened if one started for him!

We ended our night with a snow cone and pretzel and then took our little man home. We made some great memories and allowed our son to discover "new findings" in this big, amazing world.
