College Game Days Are Back

There's something about watching college football on a Saturday. It just seems natural and right. I've always had the privilege to attend many Nebraska football games, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Of course, college game days were most special when my husband participated in them. Maybe that's why they still feel like home to me.

I have to admit, it's much better watching college football when you are in Nebraska - cozy on the couch with sweatshirts on. Sometimes the snow begins to fall outside the window and you can hear shouts and cheers all throughout the neighborhood.

To me, college game days are still special. I feel safe whenever I hear the sounds of a familiar game being played. Everything else in life seems to be on pause. Nothing else matters - or seems to matter - as you relax and watch an exciting college football game. I'll always cherish the experience we had when my hubs played at Nebraska, but I love the fact that I can take those memories with me wherever I go, even if that means Texas. College game days are back.
