So Free Vouchers Are Worth It.

After Christmas, we were standing in our terminal getting ready to board the plane from Omaha to Houston when we heard an attendant offer free vouchers to anyone who could take a different flight because they've overbooked the plane (WHAT?? I've never heard of that happening before)!! I, having the mother brain, just wanted to get our son home so we wouldn't have to go through all this back and forth travel and airport scenarios again. BUT Andrew was thinking ahead... he looks at me and says, "Let's do it. We are already in Omaha so we can stay with your family and get free vouchers for Spring Break." Although I was hesitant at first, I agreed. So we walked away with TWO free vouchers, a total of $800 to spend on next flights, and a few extra days with family. Oh and we also got $50 worth of food so we got it "to go" for our drive back to Lincoln. 

All that to say, we officially booked our flights home for Spring Break. Due to God's provision, we were able to fly home free of charge and we even have extra money left over on our vouchers for next Christmas! Praise God for He is good! So the next time an attendant offers you free vouchers and you already have somewhere to stay, it's definitely worth it.
