Too Smart...

The other day Brode had just woken up from his nap. Daddy and Mommy went to go get him (it's one of our favorite times of day when we see his face light up after walking through the door). This is what we saw as soon as we opened the door. He had pulled down his bumper pad and was peeking through the bars, just waiting for us. He knows where we come in from so he gets up on all fours and just waits, excited as ever! =)  Our little boy has also discovered the strings that keep the bumper pad up. He likes to play with them and try to suck on them.  There are times where I go in to check on him and I can tell what he's been up to because the bumper pad is all messed up.  What a silly goof.  We've had to tie the strings in double knots now.  I can't believe how smart babies can be sometimes... it amazes us daily the things that he picks up on.  Now you know why we are so excited to get him up from his nap.  If you saw that face every day peeking out of the crib, wouldn't you want to go rescue him too??
