For those of you who know me - really know me - you know how much Christmas means to me. I am a sucker for everything... the crazy shopping mall covered from head to toe in Christmas decor, the unending ream of holiday music, the lights, buying a real tree, Christmas shopping for loved ones, decorating the tree, the parties, Christmas stories and, of course, the Classic Christmas movies (and, yes, even the cheesy Hallmark movies)!
The older my boys get, the more fun it is (for me) to pass down some of my favorite traditions. This one, in particular, is buying and decorating the tree. This year, our boys were literally full of glee as they hung each ornament from branch to branch.

| I will always cherish that face. |
| So blessed to have two healthy, happy boys! |
| The infamous train - the boys LOVE this tradition! |
| My sweet little Elf Helper. |
| Ha! Brode's first take at hanging the star! |
| His second try went a lot more smoothly... |
| Priceless. |
Mommy gets her own special tree (which the boys did great in helping me decorate). However, I let them decorate their artificial tree in the basement all by themselves this year... I love how they place multiple ornaments in the same spot. :)
| Bryson's very first ornament! (No, he's not a big brother - hand me down)! :) |
| Brode's very first ornament! |
| See? All cluttered... just the way they like it! |
| ...and more! |
Our house is officially prepared for the Christmas season. It's full of lighted trees, advent calendars, Elle (our personal Elf on the Shelf), and holiday music. Have I told you how much I love this time of year?? Because I do... :)

I know you are loving being home for Christmas, too! This year you get to spend actual Christmas morning at your very own house... no faking it! :) I know how you were hoping to do that soon. The boys look so big and so sweet. Hope y'all have a great Christmas! Miss y'all!
