Kemah Boardwalk

We decided to venture to the Kemah Boardwalk while my sister and her family was visiting. The only problem: our 80 degree weather quickly turned into 50 degree weather so we were cold! :) On the plus side, there were no lines for any of the rides!!

This was the boys first experience at an amusement park and they were fascinated by all the sights!
Although bummed that it was so cold, it was neat watching our boys observe the Gulf for the very first time.
Bryson, walking on the boardwalk.
It was also fun to be able to share in this adventure with my nieces, big sis, and brother in law!

Unfortunately, this Mama can't stand rides that go 'round and 'round so Daddy was able to take Brode on the Carousel and even Ferris Wheel!
Brode was ecstatic that he was tall enough for several of the rides. I thought he'd be afraid but he showed absolutely no fear and enjoyed every second of them!

After the amusement park, we decided to head to one of the waterfront restaurants, Joe's Crab Shack, for lunch.

As soon as we hit the road, BOTH boys fell fast asleep. This adventure definitely wore them out! If it hadn't been so cold, we would've felt as if we were on vacation! This was such a neat experience for us and we look forward to returning with warmer weather!

Hehe! Funny to see the Nebraskans in light jackets and your boys in winter gear! :)
