Celeb Siting #3

Harry Connick, Jr.!!!

Yep. That's right. I've officially sited my third celebrity since moving here. If you don't remember, I spotted Jack Black and Shirley Maclaine when my big sis and her family were here visiting back in October.

Well, last night while I was out with a couple girlfriends, I see this guy walk in and I think to myself, "Man. He looks familiar! It sort-of looks like... but it couldn't be!" Then, a friend says, "Y'all I haven't been listening to a word you've been saying for the past minute. I swear that's Harry Connick, Jr!" So I look again, and sure enough... that's who it is! We had the bartender (who served him) confirm our findings, too!

Of course, several people made their way over to him, but none of us had the heart to do it. He was eating dinner with his son and having babies of my own, I know how precious that time is. I started thinking he probably doesn't get to see him often and he was fully engaged. It was actually very sweet. So we let him be, but it was so neat being able to say we were literally FEET away from another celebrity. He actually sat at the table we started at... sort-of funny.

Anyway, we have a connection with the owner, so he informed us where he would be dining tomorrow night (since he's hosted this young actor before). He will be calling us upon his arrival so if we want round #2, we'll hopefully get our chance. This time, maybe we'll have the nerve to say something!

Oh, and it has to be said... I text Andrew and tell him who's there. He replies back, "Who?" :) Then my girlfriend texts her husband and he replies, "Cool! Get an autograph!" She says it's bc she makes him watch Hope Floats, ha ha!

Although he's not a FAVORITE actor of mine, it was still a fun memory made! I would have HAD to go up had it been Matthew McConaughey or Channing Tatum! Thanks girls for a fun night out! Happy Birthday to me! :)
