Happy Halloween from Our Little Cats

Brode wanted to be a lion this year for Halloween - he has been working on his "ROOOAR!" forever! Although he was very cute as Spider Man, I'm thankful we went with this... He can only dress up as a "cute little boy" for so long, right? He'll have many years to dress up as Super Hero's!!
Brode actually got sick on Halloween day, so thankfully we had gone to a costume party the Friday before. He, along with several other kids, dressed up in their costumes, played games, and ate yummy snacks!
Here is Brode at the carnival - he's decorating a sack for all of his candy and prizes! He thoroughly enjoyed this booth and did a great job with the stamps!
Here is Brode at the "Bean Bag Toss Booth." He literally made every single shot inside the pumpkins mouth! I was so proud (and happy) for him! This made him beam! Here, he picked out a little, toy lizard (actual size) and has loved him ever since... too funny and ironic. Here's our little lion, roaring, on the playground outside of the carnival! I know I'm biased, but I think he's a pretty cute lion!
So serious... I think he spotted something to "prey" on... (notice the little lizard in his hands).
Brode decided to bury the lizard and then find him... what he didn't realize was that the lizard had gravel stuck all over his sticky body...
Precious, priceless moments... I love you, little Brode Bear. I'll never forget your loud ROAR!!! I hope you feel better next Halloween... Your little brother will be old enough to walk with you...
Next up.... BRYSON as the ferocious, little Tiger!!
So I have a confession to make... since Brode got sick, we were unable to go trick or treating or attend our fun costume party.... So I took Bryson's pictures in his cute, little costume and then immediately returned it! :) He wasn't going to fit into it again, right??
Oh, my little Tigger... I think he'd make anything look cute! I love seeing his little toes hiding.
Such a good sport to put on his costume, for a few pictures!
Although Bryson's first Halloween wasn't quite as successful, we'll always remember our little Tiger.
We look forward to next year when our boys can walk side by side, maybe even in hand, around the neighborhood. Happy Halloween from our little cats to you!!
