We've been having beautiful weather lately, but woke up to a rainy day this morning and decided to take Brode on another play date. This time, we took him to a nearby Children's Museum. Although, Mommy & Daddy were disappointed with the exhibits Brode didn't seem to mind (and I guess that's all that matters, right)?

Here is our little Van Gogh painting with his very own easel. Brode is such an energetic boy that what you see is basically what you get... After one more stroke, he was off! ;)

We thought this was pretty cool. The children could paint all over this beetle. Brode was excited to be able to do something he normally wouldn't be able to do! ;)

Although, Mommy & Daddy thought this was a bit disturbing, Brode enjoyed climbing in the ambulance and checking this "guy's" heartbeat.

One of Brode's favorite exhibits was the musical one. He was able to play the piano, guitar, xylophone, and much more. I have to admit, he's pretty talented! ;)

Daddy performed Brode's very own puppet show! Brode walked right up to the camel and - of course - gave him hugs and kisses.

We also thought this grocery store exhibit was pretty creative. Brode was able to push around his own cart and pick out his very own groceries... including milk and ice cream! Then he checked out all by himself! (He must have seen Mommy do this a zillion times).

We're pretty sure we are going to have to start getting Brode the Thomas & Friends train set. He truly loved pushing these trains around the tracks and into the tunnels; all while saying, "choo-choo!"
After the museum, we took Brode to Chick-Fil-A and even let him play in the play land! (I know, can you believe I - having a bit of a germ phobia - allowed him to do this?? Although the bigger kids scare me to death, I had to open my hands a little and let Brode fly... He did great and ended up having a memorable play date with Mom & Dad.

Oh, how fun! So glad you're able to make these memories with him before the baby comes. Miss you all!
