It was absolutely gorgeous this past weekend - 70 degree weather. We took advantage of it by taking Brode to the parks. He hasn't been to a park in ages (so it seemed). He was delighted to go, of course! One of Brode's new things to do is kick his soccer ball around... When he learned he could do it outside -into a goal- he was impressed! Can "Pee Wee" sports be around the corner already?? We're going to live in denial for a little while longer!
I had to post this picture... We had to show you what a "January photo" looked like compared to what most of you are experiencing in Nebraska right now. Yes, we literally had on shorts AND t-shirts the other day for our afternoon walk! Living in the south does have its advantages at times! ;)

Oh how I would love some warm weather. It hasn't been horrible, but it isn't that warm. Next month we are going to San Diego, though. I can't wait!
