First Steps & Number 8

First Steps. Before arriving in Lincoln, Brode had started balancing on his own for several seconds at a time. He even got better at walking along furniture at a faster pace. =) Ever since our arrival, Brode has progressed even more with attempting to walk. He basically scampers along furniture now, making us smile. He has also mastered standing alone for minutes at a time. In addition to standing, he's starting to brave those first steps! He has taken 1-3 baby steps on his own before plopping down on his buns OR falling into our arms. It's so cute! He looks too "little" to be walking already, yet we still can't wait and are anticipating his "walk" to become more consistent.

Number 8. Brode has been teething for several weeks now, but it has become official. Several days ago, number 8 broke surface and is now coming along nicely! We are starting to wonder if he's already working on number 9 but aren't too sure... Maybe Brode just enjoys sticking his fingers into his mouth and drooling all over his toys! =) Time will tell...
