Mother's Day

I never truly understood the love of my own mother until I became a mother myself. I am truly blessed to have such a supportive, joyful, wise, involved, prayerful, and fun-loving mother. I couldn't have asked for a better one, for me. 

My mom always told me that God chose me to be Brode and Bryson's mommy because I was the best fit for them. That advice has stuck with me and it remains true for every mother and child. 

I am blessed beyond belief with my mother and I feel blessed even more to be able to experience motherhood. It is the most exhausting yet rewarding job I have ever had. I wouldn't change it for the world. Every single child is a gift. A gift from God alone. I am grateful - oh, so VERY grateful, that He chose me to be the mommy to my sweet sons. That in itself is what makes Mother's Day truly rewarding.

We took the boys to the park after our lunch and all of the cousins were showing off their new tricks! It has been fun watching all these precious kiddos grow!
