This week is Spring Break for my husband. We've been able to spend a lot of extra quality time as a family AND do things we typically don't get to do... LIKE having a girl's day!!!
My friend Kristi (in the middle) initiated this fun get together this past weekend. We took an afternoon for manicures and shopping. It was so much fun and just what I needed. It's always hard for me to leave my precious family behind but us Mommies just need these special days some times. Thanks girls for allowing me to be a part of such a fun, girlie day! :)
That said, Andrew ALSO got to spend a little time away for himself. He and his buddy, Matt, literally dressed the part and drove out to a shooting range one morning where they used a 45 Colt Lever Action, 270 deer rifle, and a hand gun to shoot at paper and clay targets.
Andrew said he did surprisingly well and enjoyed his time with his best bud! Thank goodness for Spring Break! Let's face it... we all could use a little break every now and then! :)
